Image
In the 4Troy Foundation's first annual 7-on-7 flag football tournament Saturday, July 31, the Cape Henlopen High boys nabbed the championship, defeating runner-up Sussex Central High. Established in 2020, the 4Troy Foundation is designed to uphold the legacy left behind by Troy Haynes, Jr. in the classroom, on the field and the court, and in the community. This will be done by providing youth mentorships, scholarships, and honoring Troy’s spirit by providing support to other young men and women, as well as their loved ones, across the United States who are navigating a road of out-of-pocket costs for medications, testing, and treatment methods. We want to combat this invisible assassin of our communities’ and nation’s future leaders. Photo: 4Troy Foundation Facebook page
