Canal Little League shuts out New York in Bristol's Mid-Atlantic Regional

 Canal Little League, based out of Wilmington, shut out the New York State Champions 7-0 Tuesday in the Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament in Bristol, Conn.

The win, which eliminates NY from the tournament, puts the Canal team just two wins away from the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. They next play Wednesday at 1 p.m.
